68 people. 69 animated NFTs. A big fucking treasury.
Let's figure this shit out.
We started this with 6,969 citizens. Today there are 119 left. The finish line is right there — we just need to get to 69.
So why are we still here?
Everyone still playing this game is tired. Not just Union 69. Not just me. Hell, I bet even Modest is a little tired of it.
I've spoken with roughly 55 of the 68 holders left. The answer is almost always the same:
"I want this to be over."
And hey — if we haven't connected in DMs yet and you're feeling the pain and want out, hit me up.
We are in a stalemate. Rather than this ending PVP, let's PVE the IRS — because every transaction, they win. Every round they take their 6.9% cut, and at some point in this game it cuts into the total ROI and we could go negative.
I don't want to watch people who have been in this for months walk away with nothing. I don't think anyone else does either. Let's prove it.
Union 69 raised 16 ETH through the Four Horsemen and CitizenStrat collections with a simple goal: help fund exits and get people out of the game.
We've already used those funds to kill more than 20 citizens. We still have roughly half the treasury remaining.
That effort built trust. Now we want to use that trust to help finish what we started.
Two ideas on the table. Either one helps accelerate the end game. Maybe we build both.
The DeathBot
A bot connected to a community treasury. It generates a live WETH offer for any citizen willing to die — adjusting automatically based on citizens remaining, available treasury, and fair exit value at that moment.
The community can contribute to the treasury over time. A little dust here and there can help tempt someone to take the exit and move the game forward.
- 50 citizens remain to be killed
- Treasury posts 50 offers at 1 WETH each
- Community adds 50 more ETH overnight
- Bot upgrades all offers to 2 WETH each
The treasury stays protected in multisig. We don't fund the bot with the full balance — we fund it incrementally, keeping the majority of funds secure. Transparent. Always on. A real exit mechanism that rewards people for moving the game forward.
GoFundMyDeath
A public marketplace for community-funded exits. Thinking about dying? List your citizen. Set your number — maybe that's 4 ETH, maybe it's 6 ETH. Other players contribute toward your target.
Once the amount is reached, the contract executes automatically:
- Your citizen is sent to gofundmydeath.eth
- The ETH is sent directly to you
- Another citizen leaves the game
I'll be upfront — I'll need to be involved in helping facilitate this. But the goal is maximum transparency and a system anyone can verify.
Because the finish line is finally visible. We're no longer talking about thousands of citizens. We're talking about roughly a hundred.
I don't want to watch people who've been here since the beginning pay taxes on ETH they spent trying to win a game that never ends.
We have the tools. We have the trust. We have the math. All that's left is the will to finish it.
